Hello family and friends! We are very excited to share with you what God has been doing in our lives recently. Andrea and I have been so grateful for God’s saving grace and His sanctifying work in our hearts. Truly, without His grace, we would be nothing. He has led us from darkness into His glorious light, and we are indebted that He would call us His own. He has been faithful to strengthen our hearts in correction, love, instruction, and hope. He gave us a church home to call ‘family’, and a place to learn and grow in His love. The faithful preaching of God’s Word, loving care of the pastoral staff of Central Church, and the encouragement and friendship extended to us has impacted our hearts personally, professionally, eternally, and purposefully.

Because of the spiritual investment of our brothers and sisters in Christ, we have grown in the process of “understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Eph. 5:17). Central was the ground in which God planted us, pruned us, and purposed us for His use, in His sovereign way. After years of praying and waiting, as well as seeking counsel from our pastoral staff, we believe that God has called our family to plant a church.

We feel God is commissioning us to preach the Gospel to a community in the United States, baptizing them into the Triune God, and teaching them to obey all the things that Christ has commanded us. Family and friends, God’s great commission is where we find our purpose, our confidence, and our courage. What great assurance we have: to believe that our Savior has been given all authority on earth and in heaven. And because of this, His purposes will not fail because He cannot lie. Our hearts are comforted in the truth that He will be with us every step of the way.

Our projected plant date will be sometime in 2018, Lord willing. We will be partnering with another couple who God has also burdened with the desire to bring the Gospel to the people in a city we are asking God to lead us to. Because of its commitment to the Gospel, and its mission to plant Gospel-centered churches, we have chosen to plant through Sovereign Grace Churches. (For more information about Sovereign Grace Churches, check out: www.sovereigngrace.com) Under their church-planting process, we will be moving to Louisville, KY where I (Aaron) have been accepted into the Pastors College (PC), starting in September 2016. The PC is an intensive ten-month program that combines theological instruction with an emphasis on pastoral care. Afterwards, we will enter a one-year residency at a Sovereign Grace Church before continuing to another location to plant a church, Lord willing.

William Cary, when considering a mission to the Gospel-barren land of India, said to his brothers in Christ, “I will go down the well, if you will hold the rope.” Andrea and I humbly echo Cary: We are willing. Family, will you prayerfully consider holding the rope for our family as we go down into the well?

Until we leave for Louisville, KY we will be fundraising to sustain us through the two-year program outlined above. If you feel led of the Lord to give, and would like to know more about what our needs will be, we would love to meet with you and share what God has placed within our hearts. Most importantly, whether you can partner with us financially or not, we ask that you would look at our prayer page, and pray to the Lord of the harvest; that He would provide everything we need to accomplish His will. For we believe that our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ.
