Hey brothers and sisters, I wanted to post a special note sharing how God has provided for my full tuition through our partners. With this goal met I have secured a position in the 2016-17 class of the Sovereign Grace Pastors College starting in just less than a month! God has been so gracious to our family. As we have stepped out in faith, He has met us time and again with His sufficient grace to supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. We have not found material riches, but we have seen that Christ righteousness has truly made us rich, and with each earthly tie loosed we sense we have a “hope which is the anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into the inner place behind the curtain” (Hebrews 6:19). From small blessings to large blessings, we have seen the traces of His providence in the way He has orchestrated these moments to happen. And family, we don’t deserve any of it, we only deserve His judgement, but He has withheld what we deserve and granted us what we don’t deserve, namely His grace through Christ. With the help of our partners we were able to raise around $9,200 that will go directly into the efforts of Pastoral Training. We thank you a million times over for those who have given one time and to those who have made the commitment to give monthly, we are so grateful for you all.
With one goal met Andrea and I are now moving into the second phase of our fundraising, and that is the daily needs that we will have during the first year in Louisville. Our monthly goal is $3800 of which we have $1,630* committed monthly from our partners! We praise God for how He has moved in peoples hearts to commit to partnering with us as we prepare for church planting! This leaves us in need of $2,175 in monthly commitments to reach our goal. We are confident that He will provide for us. He has proven Himself over and over again. During this first year Andrea will be at home with Salem and Titus being their caregiver, she is already researching curriculum’s that will best serve them during this time. The Pastors College functions holistically, not only will I be trained and equipped to handle Gods word faithfully and to watch my life closely, but Andrea also will be served by the wives of those who are in leadership. This will be a time for Andrea to learn and grow as a wife and mother preparing her heart for the context of a church plant.
We believe that everyone with whom we have interacted with thus far understands that missionary endeavors are not free, but are costly. They are costly for the family that God has called to go, and costly for the families and individuals that are holding the rope through prayer and financial support. But, both are called by God to “strive together for the hope of the Gospel,” one is not more important than the other, supporting and going are both looked at by the Lord of harvest as part of the whole. So, we ask with humbleness and hope for those who have not considered partnering with us monthly to please consider prayerfully doing so. No amount is to little, and gratefulness will abound to Gods glory. Paul says “each of us must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”( 2 Corinthians 9:7). Please, if anyone feels a reluctance in giving, or feels under compulsion to give we ask that you not give, for we desire your heart first before anything else. Andrea and I are confident that God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
Thank you all for your prayers, support and words of encouragement. We hope to give a more thorough update in a couple weeks when we get settled into our apartment in Louisville. We will also let you know how you can be praying for us more specifically at that time!
With great appreciation,
The Beane’s
*This amount is reflective of monies received as of July 19. We have had a few verbal commitments for monthly partnership since then but we aren’t sure of those amounts yet. We will give another update soon.
